Merry Christmas

I almost allowed the fact that we were flying to WV on Christmas Eve keep me from decorating this year. I am so glad I didn't. I am finally getting into the Christmas spirit. It has been so hard to feel it here in Hawaii because of the weather. It is 80 degrees in November! People say we will get used to it, but I am not sure. I am an east coast gal and I miss my changing seasons.

As I may have mentioned, our new home here in Hawaii is a lot smaller than Utah and one of the things we had no room for was our big Christmas tree. My friend Mel back in WV has a great "skinny" tree and I would love to have one. Of course you know me though, I refuse to pay full price so I am hoping to find one on sale after Christmas. Until then, our new friends, The Berry's, have graciously allowed us to borrow a small table top tree for this year. It really worked out great. AJ loved the fact that it was a breeze to assemble and was already pre-lit. Can I get an Amen! LOL

We really enjoyed decorating (most of it anyway), listening to a little Christmas music and watching "Emmet Otter's Jugband Christmas". Which is a classic Christmas movie from my girl Mel.

I am all ready to wrap presents, mail Christmas cards and dig out our winter wear for our trip home to WV. We can't wait to see everyone!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!
