Goodbye Aunt Bertie

After receiving a heart felt email from my cousin Andi, I just realized that I hadn't posted since the passing of my Great Aunt Ruby and low and behold we have had another sad loss in our family. My Great Aunt Bertie passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2009. She was 78 years old and had suffered a long illness. She was the youngest of my Grandma's 4 sisters. I feel so sad for my Grandma to have lost 2 of her sisters in one month. I have the fondest, and some of the funniest, memories of my Aunt Bertie. She was a hoot! I will miss her very much. My heart goes out to my cousins Wanda, Donald, Angie and Andi as I know they are trying to continue on without there mom and grandma. May God's love and presence be over you all.
