Update

My mom is still in the hospital. She is scheduled to have an endoscopy tomorrow morning to see what is going on around her kidney. The doctor says there is definitely some sort of obstruction. Her levels are getting better, but she is still having trouble keeping food down.
My grandmother is doing okay. My dad and stepmother cleaned for her yesterday and refilled her pill box. They brought her lunch today and my dad continues to check on her periodically. She had an episode this evening where she swore she hadn't taken her 7:00pm meds, yet they were not in her box. She is confused a lot and we are concerned that she may be showing early signs of Alzheimer's. I was able to get her calm and settled over the phone, so hopefully she will sleep through the night.
We are just taking it one day at a time until I get home.
God bless my dad and stepmother for taking time out of their lives to make sure she is okay. I don't know what I would have done without them. Imagine the humble heart of my stepmother (her name is Kathy) to take care of her husband's ex-wife's mother. WOW!
Please continue to pray for my mom's health, my grandmother's well being and my sanity.
